Baker County

Visitors to Baker County will find a burgeoning arts & cultural scene. Each year, newcomers celebrate the arts and mingle with local artists at a multitude of galleries showcasing some of the finest works of local & regional artists. Popular annual arts and cultural festivals include the monthly First Friday Art Walk, the Baker Artists’ Studio Tour, numerous artisan craft fairs, and of course the one-of-a-kind Great Salt Lick Art Auction.

Baker County also hosts numerous music festivals, performances, and live theater productions by the Eastern Oregon Regional Theater and the Missoula Children’s Theater. For those visitors wanting to hone their own artistic skills, visitors can attend regularly scheduled classes at the Crossroads Carnegie Art Center in historic downtown Baker City. For more information about the arts in Baker County visits the Crossroads Carnegie Art Center website, or stop by the Baker County Chamber of Commerce for all types of visitor information, at 490 Campbell St.
